With an education in medical transcription you can train for a degree that offers the necessary skills to work in hospitals, physicians' offices, and other medical facilities. Students will have the opportunity to learn subjects like anatomy, legal issues, medical terminology, healthcare documentation, English grammar, human biology, proofreading, computer transcription, and much more. The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) provides approval to educational programs that meet and uphold medical transcription standards.
